Running his own company is what Kirk Williams always wanted.Throughout his career, Williams has accomplished a lot: At 22, he was the youngest terminal manager at Carolina Freight Carriers, he’s held multiple executive positions in large logistics companies, and this year, he was recognized as the Automotive Supply Chain Executive of the year.But the thing he’s most proud of, he said, is his purchase of Proficient Auto and finally running his own company.“Raising the trust of investors I had not worked with previously, and the millions needed to purchase the company, is what I am very proud of,†Williams said. “I had no doubt about my ability to grow the company into a successful corporation.â€
