Steve Hansen, Executive Vice President and founding partner of HANSEN & ADKINS AUTO TRANSPORT is a graduate of the University of Southern California. Steve continues a family legacy in the auto transport industry that dates back to 1957. Hansen & Adkins Auto Transport, started in 1994, is dedicated to the business of vehicle transportation and related services. We offer transportation services for new and remarketed vehicles from manufacturing plants, ports, railheads and auctions to retail dealerships and auction sites. Our people are committed to providing the highest quality of service, at reasonable rates, to enhance value to our customers.

Randy Beggs

Randy Beggs moved from his role as COO at US-based finished vehicle haulier, Proficient Auto Transport, to become president and CEO.

Beggs moved to Proficient  from Diversified Automotive, another US-based car carrier, where he was executive vice-president and previously spent 24 years at Jack Cooper Transport.






Donald R. Carney grew up in the trucking industry and began hauling automobiles in 1985. He established Brothers Auto Transport in April 1996. Don started the company with one truck and now the fleet has grown to 45 company owned state-of-the-art stinger steer automotive transporters.


He accomplished this remarkable growth with one focus in mind: Customer First. Brothers began by servicing the needs of the retail Automobile Rental Industry, expanding his transportation service to include OEM finished vehicle distribution as well as the captive finance company lease return markets.




Anthony Carpentier

Anthony Carpentier is a motivated individual with over 30 years of progressive growth working for finished vehicle logistics providers and Volvo Cars of North America. In his current roll as Vice President at Vehicle Logistics Solutions, LLC, Anthony is successfully administering the start up of the Car Hauling Division of the company which now has a new fleet of 27 trucks and continues to grow. Vehicle Logistics Solutions provides yard management, logistics specific software, transportation, storage and processing to a host of OEM’s and/or their LSP’sp>





Rich Dennis is the Co-Founder and a Director of AmeriFleet Transportation, Inc. AmeriFleet is the leading provider of fleet logistics, driveaway, and truck carrier services to commercial fleets in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. Founded in 1997, AmeriFleet has grown to over 65 locations serving fleet clients with, marshaling, storage and Title and Registration services, in addition to vehicle relocation services, throughout North America and Puerto Rico. Lou Ferrera

John began his career in the trucking business in 1990 as a driver for a towing company. During this time, John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in transportation and logistics from the University of Maryland. Soon after graduation, John accepted a position with Adesa Auto Auction as their Transportation Manager and worked for them from 1995 – 1999. John then founded Delta Automotive Services in June of 1999 where they specialize in the hauling for the remarketed side of the auto-hauling industry.




Bill Fralic

At the University of Pittsburgh, Bill Fralic was considered one of the best offensive linemen in college football history and was Pittsburgh’s only three-time All-American. He has since been inducted into the College Football “Hall of Fame”. In 1985, he was the second overall pick in the NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons and went on to four straight Pro Bowl appearances in the late 1980’s.


In 1989, Bill started an insurance agency in Atlanta, GA, specializing in customized solutions for the commercial trucking industry. Over the past twenty-plus years, Bill Fralic Insurance Services, Inc. has harnessed the same excellence that Bill displayed on the football field by becoming one of the leading agencies in the country, focused on the commercial transportation industry.

Tom McGeehan, Executive President of TJ McGeehan Sales and Service, LTD., graduated with a Degree in Nuclear Engineering (Advanced Reactor Design) from the University of Florida. Following graduate work at the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, Tom joined with his father, TJ McGeehan Sr., to help grow the family business into one of the largest and most respected purveyors of used vehicle logistics and overall remarketing program initiatives. With an unrivaled commitment to customer service, quality control, and a professional staff of seasoned individuals, T.J. McGeehan Sales and Service, LTD. has enjoyed steady organic growth, and complete customer satisfaction. Through a diverse Technology background spanning from Fortran to Apple iOS, Tom also owns and operates Automotive Logistics Systems, LLC to deliver environmentally friendly technology applications that increase accuracy and efficiency by eliminating paper processes in the transportation life-cycle.

Guy Young comes to AHAA with more than 30 years of experience in trade association and transportation management including industry safety, compliance and training.


Young most recently served as the President & CEO of the Kentucky Trucking Association. Prior to that Young served 22 years as the Vice President & Chief Development Officer for the Georgia Motor Trucking Association.  Before joining GMTA, Young was employed by Atlanta-based Transport South, Inc. and specialized in safety compliance, driver recruiting and training, training seminars, and the development of quality improvement processes.


Young is a native of Gulf Shores, Alabama, attended Auburn University and holds a B.S. degree in Transportation and Physical Distribution.  He and his wife Tina live in Johns Creek, Georgia and have two children. Their son, Patrick, is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is now in graduate school at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry.  Their daughter, Perry, is a senior at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
