Supreme Court hears fleet’s arguments for arbitration clauses in case with broad ramifications

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday heard oral arguments in a lawsuit brought by an owner-operator against a motor carrier in a case that could have ramifications on both the contracts made between carriers and owner-operators and any disputes between them about contracts, says an attorney at a prominent transportation-focused firm.
