At the University of Pittsburgh, Bill Fralic was considered one of the best offensive linemen in college football history and was Pittsburghs only three-time All-American. He has since been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. In 1985, he was the second overall pick in the NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons and went on to four straight Pro Bowl appearances in the late 1980’s.
In 1989, Bill started an insurance agency in Atlanta, GA, specializing in customized solutions for the commercial trucking industry. Over the past twenty-plus years, Bill Fralic Insurance Services, Inc. has harnessed the same excellence that Bill displayed on the football field by becoming one of the leading agencies in the country, focused on the commercial transportation industry.
During the 20 years leading up to his role as General Manager, Bill was a consultant specializing in helping organizations develop and successfully execute their business strategies particularly in environments where there was strong resistance to change. Prior to consulting, Bill was in the business management side of information technology for Mack Trucks and Harris Corporation. In 2012, Bill led the development of AHAA, established multiple relationships throughout the industry, and built the association into a well-respected leader within the auto industry before retiring in August of 2018.

Donald R. Carney grew up in the trucking industry and began hauling automobiles in 1985. He established Brothers Auto Transport in April 1996. Don started the company with one truck and now the fleet has grown to 45 company owned state-of-the-art stinger steer automotive transporters.
He accomplished this remarkable growth with one focus in mind: Customer First. Brothers began by servicing the needs of the retail Automobile Rental Industry, expanding his transportation service to include OEM finished vehicle distribution as well as the captive finance company lease return markets.
John began his career in the trucking business in 1990 as a driver for a towing company. During this time, John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in transportation and logistics from the University of Maryland. Soon after graduation, John accepted a position with Adesa Auto Auction as their Transportation Manager and worked for them from 1995 – 1999. John then founded Delta Automotive Services in June of 1999 where they specialize in the hauling for the remarketed side of the auto-hauling industry.
Steve Hansen, Executive Vice President and founding partner of HANSEN & ADKINS AUTO TRANSPORT is a graduate of the University of Southern California. Steve continues a family legacy in the auto transport industry that dates back to 1957. Tom McGeehan, Executive President of TJ McGeehan Sales and Service, LTD., graduated with a Degree in Nuclear Engineering (Advanced Reactor Design) from the University of Florida. Following graduate work at the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Engineering Laboratory, Tom joined with his father, TJ McGeehan Sr., to help grow the family business into one of the largest and most respected purveyors of used vehicle logistics and overall remarketing program initiatives. Kirk has worked for and managed several of the largest facilities and operations for some of the largest multi-billion-dollar transportation and logistics companies in the world. Prior to the purchase of Proficient, Kirk was V.P. Global Freight Management for APL and GATX Logistics. Kirk also served as V.P. Transportation North America for the Global giant Exel Logistics, and was the President and founder of Innovative Logistics, Director Operations Planning for Carolina Freight Corp and Director Marketing for Burlington Northern Railroad.
Kirk earned his BS in Transportation and Logistics Management from Kent State University with continuing education courses at schools such as Kellogg Graduate School of management at Northwestern University, Georgia Tech, The Ohio State University, Stanford University, and the University of Wisconsin. He is the current Vice Chairman of the American Auto Haulers Association, an active member of the Auto Carrier Conference of the American Trucking Association, the Florida Trucking Association, and the Jacksonville Transportation Club and a frequent speaker at various industry trade events such as the annual Finished Vehicle Logistics Conferences.
Anthony Carpentier is a motivated individual with over 30 years of progressive growth working for finished vehicle logistics providers and Volvo Cars of North America. In his current role as Vice President at Vehicle Logistics Solutions, LLC, Anthony is successfully administering the startup of the Car Hauling Division of the company which now has a new fleet of 27 trucks and continues to grow. Vehicle Logistics Solutions provides yard management, logistics specific software, transportation, storage and processing to a host of OEM’s and/or their LSP’s
Leo Doire started as a young boy in a tire shop that serviced a variety of vehicles including tow vehicles. After founding, owning and operating a towing and recovery business in the northeast, Leo found his real passion, Car-Hauling. In 1994 Leo established Virginia Transportation Corporation and has seized the opportunity to grow the business every day since.
As Owner/CEO of Virginia Transportation Corporation, Leo is customer centric, quality focused, and people-driven. Not a day goes by that Leo does not work relentlessly to better this industry and encourage those around him to do the same.
Guy Young joined AHAA in 2018 bringing more than 30 years of experience in trade association and transportation management including industry safety, compliance, and training.
Young served as the President & CEO of the Kentucky Trucking Association and Vice President & Chief Development Officer for the Georgia Motor Trucking Association. He was also employed by Atlanta-based Transport South, Inc. and specialized in safety compliance, driver recruiting and training, training seminars, and the development of quality improvement processes.
Young is a native of Gulf Shores, Alabama, attended Auburn University, and holds a B.S. degree in Transportation and Physical Distribution. He and his wife Tina live in Loudon, Tennessee, and have two children.
