Tire issue prompts Cascadia recall
More than 4,000 Freightliner Cascadia trucks are being recalled for a potential issue with the factory set of steer tires, according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents.
The recall affects approximately 4,341 model year 2020-2022 Freightliner Cascadia sleeper trucks equipped with Bridgestone R284, R268 or R283S Ecopia steer tires in conjunction with a specific air dam. The steer tires may experience tread separation or blow-outs while driving, the recall states.
