AFTERMARKET CHALLENGES FOR CARMAKERS HIT BY RECALL

Japanese carmakers including Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Mazda, have been forced to recall nearly 3.5m vehicles because of a defective passenger side airbag problem caused by a faulty inflator. The OEMs are now faced with a major aftermarket logistics challenge in sourcing and supplying replacements across the globe in as short a time as possible.
