North American vehicle carrier and logistics provider United Road Services has bought the auto transport division of rival firm Waggoners Trucking, making it the continent’s second largest car haulier behind Jack Cooper Transport. The deal was carried out by United Road and its private equity owners, Charlesbank Capital Parnters, for an undisclosed sum.
