Active members of the military may now train for and obtain a commercial driver’s license in the state in which they are stationed, instead of the state in which they live, thanks to the Military CDL Act of 2012, which passed both chambers of Congress on Oct. 1 and was signed by President Barack Obama on Oct. 19.
