At this year’s Automotive Logistics Global conference, held last week in Detroit, analysts and industry players outlined significant shifts occurring in the supply chain, including the movement of assembly from Asia to the US and especially to Mexico. However, executives pointed to rising global production and increasing shifts towards global platforms and emerging markets will continue to disrupt the North American supply chain.
