The following document was put together by members of the Auto Haulers Association of America. Our goal is to have a document that would serve as a foundation for driver training. Thus, we felt it important to keep it as simple, and straightforward as possible. Areas of emphasis include driver safety, and damage prevention. This is a general manual, and as such is always subject to more detailed requirements presented by the Customer, the Department of Transportation including Federal and State regulatory agencies, and the Trailer Manufacturer.
